have decided I want to do a cichlid stock for my 65 (36x18x24). For filtration I'm running a 29 gallon fluidized sump and I'm fine going on a higher end bio load. Originally wanted to do a Malawi peacock tank but from my reading my tank isn't big enough for that? Any ideas on what I should put in there? I want it to be colorful and very active.

Rainbowfish could be a very nice option for you, also an alkaline water fish that's pretty and colourful as well as active.

They take time to mature but the name is well deserved

A group of Pseudotropheus saulosi?

The males are blue the females are yellow and they do well in a colony as long as you get the ratios right.

Colorful as in brightly colored or as in different colors?
