Hi guys! I was wondering why a gang valve is needed to control the air going in. Doesn't a skimmer need the maximum amount of air that a venturi can generate? If yes, will it help if we connect an air pump to the venturi barbed fitting? Tnx!
to my understanding without controling the amount of air being forced into the venturi then you can generate too much air and overflow the collection cup, causing you a mess!! like i said not sure if im right but my skimmer directions said in BIG words not to let to much air in.
