Your discus will be fine in that ph just make sure to aclumate them properly and you should not go 3 months without doing a water change. But on the same note how do you treat your discus...

The Discus are in a QT. Unfortunately they got neglected also, but not as bad. As juveniles, they were supposed to have frequent water changes, like every day or every other day and multiple feedings. I had a personal issue and couldn't change the water that often. Sometimes they didn't see a WC for as long as 2 weeks apart. Knowing I wouldn't be able to change water, I backed the feedings waay down. I understand I probably stunted them, but they've made it through. I think because they were at around 4" they weren't affected as much as if they were smaller.

Wrong? I didn't make water change on my planted tank over a year lol I got a dozen octos and a royal pleco...I didn't fed them anything, they gaze on algae and the plecos muching on dwriftwood!
