Don't you get them prescribed by the optician?

You guys are so reassuring, this one big caring family of friends! THANK YOU!

Personally, I'm a fan that if it's one or the other, and you can have both then do it! I have glasses, and contacts, if I'm not going anywhere I'll just wear the glasses, but if I'm going out or something, pop in the contacts. As for the contacts I've always had the soft flexible lenses, the hard ones are a thing of the past nowadays.

I'd love the idea of having neither, as in getting the laser surgery, but I'm afraid. And I just keep thinking, what if in like 15 yrs it wears off? Or something worse happens? Just paranoid me. :)

In some cases, and it depends on your eyes history, your eyes will be back to how they were in less than 10 years. An optometrist who does the surgery will do an assessment and tell you either way.

i notice in your pics that you dont seem to be wearing glasses. if you only wear them for reading and such then contact lenses are not the option for you.

Yeah, I'm only wearing glasses when I sew! But I do hate wearing the things!

If you can wear contacts, it's the way to go.
