I have just got 1 rtg and 1 highback gold from my friend.. isit ok if I put them together in a 4x2x2 tank?

X2 you'd only be giving each fish a 2 by 2 square of space. How large are they and what will you do if they don't accept each other?

That's plenty small enough to divide and see how they do. If they don't accept each other I'm not sure what the proper tank size is.
