At home
I need all the advice I can get on my 2 new Delhizi Bichirs.
There are like 3" or so.
At the store they were inseparable but the second they were put in my tank they seperated. (Currently can find 1, don't know where the other one is :/ )
The tankmates are:
10+" Silver Arowana x1
9" BGK x1
7-9" Hi-Fin Pleco x1
3" Clown Loach x1
1" Clown Loach x4
2-3" Leaopard Pleco x1 (bought yesterday at the same time as the bichirs)

The tank is 150 gallons (L x W x H) (72" x 18" x 24")

I have to Canister filters.

Air pump.

Heater.

I just want to know if there is anything I should know about them.

Can they burry in the sand?
What should I feed them?

Did you check the size of the Silver Aro's stomach or hopefully it's hiding under a rock. A 10 " Aro will be a threat to anything that can fit in its mouth.

Well I looked at him cause I thought that to but he was not swollen at all. He was perfectly smooth on his sides...
Plus he is almost never on the bottom of the tank where the bichir was. I do have a TON of rocks as you can see in the pic of tank

Well dels do bury alot. But all polys breath air so on their way to the top that puts them in harms way.......
Seems this is a on going theme feeding small things to larger predators lately.
Hope everything is ok.

With the size differences I would be power feeding those Del's. Problem is again the size Soo power feeding may be an issue, at the least I would feed every night after lights out just to make sure the little Del's can get to the food and beat.out the competition. Tilapia and s.all nls pellets or broken up hikari carnivore
