Aequidens Diadema?

There are about 3 closely related Aequidens species that all look very similar, earlier in the hobby they were all labelled as the same fish, all except true Diadema max's out at 5" or so.
if you know what you are looking for it is easy to distinguish between them, but any true Diadema from a reputable dealer will reach 10" no problem.

my LFS has some and one male grew much faster than the others and has all the other fish beat into one corner.

Might explain why mine doesnt look like that 10" but does look like most profile pics. mine has a blunter face with blue streaks like green terrors. of course i have no pictures as my phone is crap lol mine wasnt even labled so i dont know if the behaviors are different from the 10" posted. sorry dispatch

Lol why are you sorry? My two look just like the pictures that were posted earlier in the thread. They are pretty interesting fish. Hopefully they will settle in nicely and start eating soon

Mine looks exactly like yours dispatch but i tad bit different from the huge monster one lol.
