I ordered six of these guys from jeff rapps, well be arriving today can not wait. These guy are not the same as the gold or silver saum. These guys are the real deal. I will post pics if i can find the wire for my digital camera

very cool fish. Mean as hell. The like cool water but did ok in the outdoor pond during the summer. Love to jump so keep a lid on the tank. they will kill each other and other fish.

Can you define cool water?

They spawned for me in water that was 60. I left them out longer than the other fish and they were very active in the water at or below 60. It the summer the pond got closs to 100. At 60 teir color was good and they spawned. This was when jeff first got them in and I got the big male.

I have 2 of them from Jeff. They are tiny, so have a separate tank ready for them.

I have never had the true Green Terror, is there really that much difference as far as aggression is concern? Is the True Green Terror more meaner than the Gold Saum? I heard that the True Green Terror doesn't get as large as the Gold Saum is that true?
