Afer Knife tank size?

are they actually two different species or locals or morphs what going on do you know?

There has been debate as to whether or not the heavily spotted afers are a subspecies or simply a regional variant.
There is another species....Papyrocranus congoensis but it's body color is usually light with dark markings.
