Affliction: Day of Reckoning

Wow, that is a great clip.

I feel bad saying this, but I kind of agree with you. I guess people will say now that he should fight Brock, and I guess that would be cool, but I'm not sure that it will happen. I look forward to seeing how the new "up and comers" in the heavyweight class in the UFC shake out, and if someone rises to the top as a possible competitor, but as for right now, there's not a ton out there.
He could always try and drop weight...

That's what I'm saying...and fight Anderson Silva. IDK with his build how much dropping 25 pounds would do to him, though.

I would still like to see him fight Barnett, Lesnar and Randy. He's too young and competitive to retire. I don't think that's going to happen. Arlovski is still very young. Maybe by the time Fedor is 40, he'll slow down enough and AA will be more disciplined.

to comment further on him retiring. he's the champ, why should he go to anyone? the fighters should come to him. he is easily on everyone's p4p list. the fact he doesn't cut is another plus for him. most people cut weight to fight a smaller opponents. IMHO there really isn't anyone else out there that he needs to beat at this point in time. who's left? randy? he has no gas left in his tank. lesner? a guy with less fight experience than fingers? i mean brock's a big boy so i suppose there is always the possibilty of a one punch knockout.

so you can keep throwing bodies at him, but you know, at some point he is going to get caught or age is going to get the best of him. before that happens, i would like to see him leave on top on his terms. he is still the best HW out there today. but i honestly think he has already peaked in his pride days.

First, I would say that Fedor would kill Silva. That would not be close.

Second, I somewhat agree with b-man here, but I guess it's up for debate as to whats better for the sport, having a guy like Fedor just go out on top, or to have somebody beat him and usher in the next gen.
