after the dreaded enemy known simply as "The Columnaris" wiped out my malawi tank I put my lone surviving D.compressiceps in my CA/SA tank with JD's,oscars and the like (some bigger stuff too) and it does great...definately not at the bottom of the pecking order as far as aggression goes.

but otherwise I for sure wouldnt try it with mbuna.In fact I wouldnt have dont it at all but that eye biter was my fav. african.

if you can put this together: anfrican tiger pike with a xinguI pike and some peacock bass then hey try it just have a big tank and lots of hiding spaces aN let nature do what it do. have fun its your tank!!!!:headbang2 :D

Especially if you've got more than two of them...carefull with the mbuna's.
The Eye Biter is sweet fish

Make sure you have a quarintine tank good to go
