It might be a bit thin, but it's not getting out-competed. I could always just throw an extra handful of pellets in. Nobody else really eats the sinking ones except the catfish, but the Afro doesn't let many reach the bottom.

I actually think that's my jade goby that you're seeing, just at a weird angle. I don't have a bowfin yet.
