Very fast. You can expect 4" in under one and a half months. But that's if you fed it as much as i did. They're filter feeders so they prefer eating continuously as opposed to one/twice a day. When it was 2", i fed it up to 10 cubes of FBW a day. Now even more. Best you read up before buying it. Notoriously hard to keep.
