Does anybody else have problems with their afro? Mine is terrorizing my tank, and has been since he was 5 inches. So far he has killed both my RCK and my reticulata ray. Now he is starting to pick on my bichirs. Any suggestions?

He is almost last week i measured him at 10.5". Unfortunately I have no other tanks that can house him at the time. He gets really aggressive when i dont put in food for about 3 or 4 hours. Very hard to do when I go to class or i'm at work. He only is concerned with my senegal right now, and not my ornate or endli.
I have a 8x4 plywood build in the r&d stages which should be done in a few months. He will have to manage until then.

afro are very aggressive mine used to beat up 7 x asian aros
the problem is afro like small food particals and when other fish and aros chew fuud small bits come out of the gills which the afro will go for this spooks the fish and looks like the afro is chasing them

I have trouble selling him because I know how hard they are to rear successfully at the size I purchased him at (3"). Since I started this thread the senegal that he chases got fed up and chased back. It was interesting to see a 7" senegal chase a fish that is larger than him in every dimension. He only does quick nips now when something is in his way, but with such an active fish, everything becomes in its way at some point...
