She's 18" now. Any pictures of yours?

Yeah I realy like them 2! Mine are about 16 inch.. They eat about anything in adult size, and grows fast ;)

Nah. They grow too fast and eat way too much. :P If I were to keep another one. I would keep it for life. But I would want a 3 ft wide tank before getting another one.

i thought i saw that you sold it, but i couldn't remember for sure. i hope it grows super fast.

Are you from MN by any chance?

ya, would you like some bowfins? i have plenty.

LFS is Forest Lake Pets?

ya, but now that you let my secret out i'll have to kill you!..lol

ya, if i had my pond going rich was going to hook me up with those 2 rtcs. now did you notice the "large spotted" catfish in the front lower tank were they usually keep the monster clown knifes they get in? or the XXXXL scombs they had in the middle section on the top tank on the left hand side as you faced the back? they have them at $150 and they are 8-9". they have been getting harassed by the local law enforcement about getting fish from licensed dealers this year. they couldn't take any bowfins from me this year due to it. if you do there often you may have seen some of my fish i have traded in. like my raphs, scomb, larger silver aros, 4" it dat... i deal with them alot. they always hook me up and i always make good on my end of the deals.

also, i don't know how old you are, but have you gone to p.d. pappys at all? i am a bounser there in the summer.

so anyway how would you like to be a proud owner of some bowfin?

Yes, saw the larger cat and scombs, would get a scomb but I just won't settle for anything less than an Armatus. Next to the scombs was a big gold mac piranha, thing is a beast. Saw your datnoid towards the back of the store. Not quite old enough for p.d. Pappys. Lol I appreciate your salesman approach :) but I have no tank space!

ya that piranha was a beast!

they are kid friendly and mother approved, these bowfin get along with everything except small fish and crustations...so i'll just mark you down for 2 then :grinno:
