mine will eat wardleys shrimp pellets, cichlid pellets, flakes, freeze dried krill, blood worms, earth worms, live shrimp, fish, tadpoles, crickets. basically anything it can.
ya eels of different species wont fight but put to ADULT fire eels together and unless you get really lucky and end up with a m/f they will fight and kill eachother even if they are m/f after breeding time they will fightOh no the one at the way left is a zig-zag eel rescued from a former 10 gallon. Sadly I was forced to throw him in there. The middle though is a tire track. When I got the tire track he was as big as the zig zag but now is double the size. Though for its size the zig zag is pretty fat. BTW there are no fights with any of them and the African knife. Though I tryed throwing a big black ghost and my african kept fighting him back. So no mixing with other knifes besides its own kind.
