African Brown Knives Breeding?

yes, i am keeping 4 knives in a 55g currently, and if this is a territorial dispute, then it is the first i've seen between any of my knives, especially the ABKs, they are the most docile fish in my tank with the exception of the pleco

If I am not mistaken African ones don't get as large as the other species.

correct, ABKs get around 8" and these are about 5"

haha, that's what i've read too, which doesn't really help me since there isn't much info on courtship behavior. and i'm not quite sure what i'm doing right, i don't think i do WCs as frequent as i probably should and it's not like my tank decor is very natural, but i've had gouramis breed is this tank before so i guess i'm doing something right, lol
