African bullfrog advice and progress

He was totally under the mud the other day, as I searched with the feeding tongs I could feel and hear his teeth smashing the metal lol...
He was then grunting and blowing 3" of mud out, then it was his face showing down a deep hole!!! Reminded me of that hole on return of the Jedi lol....
We call him jabba the gut sometimes!-)

Nice looking ABF! I have a 8-9 year old female that I was given when she was the size of a 50 cent piece. I wish I lucked out and got a male like you! She's only about the size of a large grapefruit.

I breed dubia roaches so it helps the food bill. She's asleep at the moment. I keep her in my basement and it's cool this time of year so she'll estivate for a few weeks at a time. Here's an older photo of her.

That photo is when she was 2 years old. She's much darker and bit more drab now. Definitely Pyxicephalus adspersus.
