African Butterfly/Crayfish Tank

sounds like an interesting idea, although I'd go with some of the blue crayfish or something a little more exotic than the common kind
 
I will once my common passes. I caught him myself, so i've grown fond of him :) had an electric blue with him and forgot that mine was so mean cause he was wild caught. Ended up eating my 20 dallor electric blue..
 
It was my understanding that you can't house more than one cray together in a small tank. I thought all crays were aggressive. Even during mating... *shrug*
I know you can have more than one in larger tanks with plenty of hiding spots but I have never tried it personally.
I keep my feeders in with my crayfish, he eats what he can catch and the rest just reproduce like crazy and get fed to the poly.
 
I had the two of them in a 29 gallon. with two hiding spots on oppisite sides. it lasted fine for about 3 days, then the blue molted and it was over. really sucked....
