If they don't outgrow and eat the bf they will push them around and eat their food.not a good mix, they spook easily and jump easily you need a top with absolutely no openings even a small space by the filter intake needs to be closed.
Dillingerescaped;3538918; said:well if you know the aro will eat it, then why did you post asking that question? and you original question asked about putting it in your 125, not a 30 gallon.
Dillingerescaped;3569155; said:"i want to put one in my 125 with my oscar and jack dempsey. both are friendly to surface dwellers that are bigger than 2"
then right below it...
"125gal - 6" Tiger Oscar // 3.5" Jack Dempsey // 4" Pleco // 13" Silver Aro (Given back to me >_<)..."
you did want it in the 125 with an arowana in it.
not trying to argue just showing the facts.
Retuks;3571723; said:How to explain this:
Lets say you had no fish.
you posted a thread on monday about getting guppies for a tank.
somebody gives you piranhas on wednesday so you stop looking for guppies and change your signature to having piranhas.
On Friday, New guy reads your monday thread about guppies, then reads your signature that you updated on wednesday, then says "Hey you can't have piranhas with guppies".
thats ummmm... what you did.
Darth Scohin;3571753; said:Wow, man you really need to notify the whole Thread that you changed your intentions....No one is going to stock(sp) your profile in hopes that you change your mind....I have two butterflys in a 55gal and they are uber skittish even with them hiding under the riccia.....My point is No Pantodon will not work with SA Cichlids at that size especially(sp) Oscars and JDs. Mine are fast and honestly nothing that they easily can swallow is left for my swift Ctenopoma....
