African Cichlid attack Good food bad food?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
With time they will start hitting the floating pellets. Sometimes takes a while. If I can train a bichir to eat floating pellets then africans should be a piece of cake.

Mine eat anything that hits the water. Even sticking my hand in causes everyone to rush at it and nip me until they realize I'm not food.

yup i get nibbled on quite often :headbang2

No I don't :(

I'm currently making the switch to some of Ken's fish food. I already have his veggie flakes and my fish go nuts for it. Even my shy synos come out for this stuff :0 I'm looking to get some of his pellets as soon as my African attack stuff runs out.

I've been using it for a while now, the colors do not come out as great as they do with omega. I bought the little 3oz bottle and used it for a few months. The colors on my lab and pseudo seemed to fade. I have since switched back to both flakes and omega one. My fish have forgotten how to eat flakes that rest ontop of the water. My filter has been broken for about 3 months now so i am stuck on water changes every 4-5 days.

I should also ask, what type of auratus do you have? I've been trying to give mine a home for some time, they do not get along with yellow labs unless your rockwork is superb.

Theres my Auratus. I would love to have more! Plus you can have the piece of mind of him going in to a 100 gallon with superb rockword within a month and he will be fed NLS :)
