no it is not, guppy. O. n. niloticus has been used for the guessing game anyway. another hint (just to move on): it's a Tilapiine species.

I knew it had been done, I guessed it right that time, heheh, I found this pic in fishbase as the niloticus, I think they had it in the wrong place.
At first glance Ash's pic looks like an apisto but it would have to be a tourist.

Man this is hard, The only thing I can find so far that comes close is the Apistogramma cacatuoides from Brazil.
