Peacocks and Haps gets my vote
Isn't this repetitive and redundant? LOL.
They get my vote too, although I do not believe there is a law precluding the peaceful coexistence of haps and fronts. I suspect Mike will weigh on on this post haste....

That is true... I think, you can make a good mixture and different combonations work if you have the correct timing when introducing them to the tank, but with africans you never know when there will be a shift in the heirarchy and thenyou dont know what your in for especially when you get them small and not sure if they are male or female... time will tell.... You sometimes have to learn through experience It definitely is interesting keeping african cichlids of any type so have fun with it!!!

lol, well all male peacock hap tanks are great. On the law lol, well only trouble with fronts and haps/peacocks is that often they nip the trailers and fins of fronts. Of course for a while the haps/peacocks will out grow the fronts, when the front get larger they still nip at them. The trailers on a large male front are amazing! So take that into thought, or of course fonts are pretty laid back and spoke easy. peacocks and haps can stress them out. I have kept them together until fronts were 6-8 inchs though with little problems.
