I maintain the aquariums in my son's elementary school. One of the second grade teachers grabs me in the hall tonight and shows me her ACF. It looks to have a huge tumor in its stomach. She goes on to tell me that she think it ate some of the gravel substrate from the small tank it live in.
I opened the lid and carefully grabbed the frog. Sure enough The bulge feels like aquarium gravel. The frog has been like this since last December. It still is able to feed and move. It doesn't move well and is definitely weighted to the bottom by the stones.
Can anything be done to remove the stones?
Thanks in advance.
