***?

I don't think anyone said anything about same-sex relationships.

I find ignorance way more offensive than playfulness.

Howdy,

Just something to think about: TotallyBarracuda started a thread, asking for other members' frog pictures. That is a legitimate post in the right forum. Others just posted derogatory comments. That is what I consider spam :p . If anyone gets banned or stripped in this thread, it's for sure not the original poster...

TotallyBarracuda,

I had African Dwarf frogs before, but they didn't last too long. Must have been sick when I got them, since they ate (brine shrimp) but still died w/in a week. Make sure to use the MFK search function to find more into on this site.

i may have missed something, but what is wrong with this thread. ahwell. in answer i dont own one, but found the other day one that they have been an animal that great science experiments have been performed on. It was the first animal with an invertebrate cloned. heres a pic of one that glows, but only in the eyes. heres an article on some stuff, but there is plenty more out there http://aquaticfrogs.tripod.com/id11.html

Davo, your thinking of the African clawed frog, a different species than the African dwarf, though they are closely realted. Not only are the ACF larger than the ADF but their eyes are on top on their head rather then on the sides, they also lack webbing on the front feet.

My gf just got two ADF a couple weeks ago and has them in a 2.5g, I thought for sure they would die and told her to get a betta. They are doing well though, eating brine shrimp, live daphina, flakes, bloodworms and mysis. One of them even had the other in an amplexis hold but I don't know if theywill breed. They bite her when she cleans the tank and takes them out of the water.

oops yea, your right, teach me for not reading the thread title properly. dont mix these frogs together, you'll end up with just a fat african clawed frog lol
