I have kept those little fellows in my tanks for years .They are pretty fun to watch although people are never sure what to feed them. The only thing I have ever fed them is those freeze dried tubifex worm cubes.I just drop them in the water and as soon as they find out theyre in the tank. They rip the little cubes to shreds .I dont know theyre life span but most of mine last years .The biggest they get is 2 -2 1/2 inches 3-4 inches if you count when they stretch out theyre legs .The adults well allso sort of hunt for ghost shrimp they sit they sit and wait and snatch one .Usually they just rip a piece off and youll have half a ghost shrimp swimming around .Sadly I have never had them breed , or not that I knew of.And I have kept 10-12 at a single time in a community tank. Most of the time they hide out and you see them when they come up for air or for feedings. They do how ever like to float around in water currents from time to time wich is prety fun to watch. If you ever drink a couple beers and sit theyre and watch them youll swear they look like litte people diving . Really I cant think of any thank I havent Had an ADF in .They add life to a tank and take away some of the monotony of just watching fish swim by.I have never had them with predatory fish but they are pretty good at taking cover if you provide a rock or somekind of small cavelike structure for them to dwell in .Usually I just put two medium sized flat rocks or slate in there and make some sort of structure for them to crawl into it under it or just lay on top of it. Well thats my .02 cents.

I currently have one in a 15 gallon mixed with zebra danio's, female betta, cory cat, couple of "designer" plecos and a bumblebee catfish. Mine eats just regular flake food, couple of flakes and it looks like he swallowed a watermelon.

 I recently bought a new ADF. I bought it an extra small flower pot for it to hide in, but it prefers hiding behind my Aquarium backround in a loose section! I think he's still a little shy. Maybe when he warms up to the new fish tank, he'll enjoy his new clay pot hideout. In fact the flower pot seems a preference not to my frog, but to a curious black molly I own. :D :shark:

With the little dwarves you can try occassional feedings of live brine shrimp or black worms, they go nuts for them.
