African Dwarf Frog

Howdy,

I was wondering what your experiences with Hymenochirus boettgeri are, and what you feed to them. I just got 6 and I will try frozen foods as well as little crickets. What are your tricks to make sure the frogs get enough in a community tank with fish?

I have three dwarf frogs myself, and I dont keep them in a tank with fish cause they aren't very agressive and will usually eat rather slowly. I have had good luck with frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms. But with other fish in there you have to almost overfeed and make sure it sinks to the bottom and you have other food on the surface to distract the fish.

They love blackworms, tubifex, and brine shrimp, and tend to slowly starve on dry foods, I think they are nearsighted or something because it is not unusual to se them spitting out gravel.
