African dying for no apparent reason...

I find that treating my fish, under what seem to be similar circumstances, with Sera Baktopur direct helps to reduce the number of deaths. This is medication for internal and external bacteria. I follow the directions as stated. What is the condition of the fish fins? Stress is the biggest killer with Malawi's. I have had a fish go from healthy to dead within 5-6 hrs, Metriaclima callainos. Can only put it down to stress caused by the other fish. If a fish becomes stressed the others will hound it.

Need help... cichlids started to dying. My water is perfect as far as I can tell. No nitrites, nitrates, pH is 8.0, salt is 8 ppt. I did dose with melafix and pimafix together for 3 days befor any of the deaths occured. then stopped treatment after first death. next day, another death, next day, 3 deaths, and now have my favorite cichlid on the brink. I changed 30 gal after the deaths just in case the meds were too strong. I was only treating for ripped fins. Could it be this medication? There is also a lot of spawning going on right now so the aggression is a bit amped up but it doesnt seem too too bad or out of the ordinary. Please respond if you read this.

Two of my yellow labs just recently died off. I changed water on Tuesday.
I came home from work Friday night, went to feed them - I always make sure they are all swimming where I can see them before I put the food in - but only 2 labs showed up. So I searched for the other and found him dead. He looked normal, no signs of aggression, his mouth was closed, so I thought maybe he wasn't getting enough food. Then the second one died within a day as well, on Sunday. I fed them before I left Saturday, stayed the night at my parents and came home to find a second lab dead, his mouth was open and his gills were protruding out, still no signs of aggression, his body looked fine. My other lab looks great, as well as my other cichlids and my water looks fine, clear as day. I saw zero symptoms with the 2 labs that died, they were always swimming about and acting normal, so I find it strange that they died.
Any ideas? Should take my water in for testing just to be safe..
