African Giraffe Catfish

Today is your lucky day. This is my absolute favorite catfish. Hands down no questions asked. I looked everywhere never thought i would ever see one. Then one day walked into my lfs and there he was. Waited a month before i eventually took him home. Family finally talked me into it. Paid $40. Got 10 knocked off because he had been there so long. He's now 15-16 inches.

yeah. my gentle giant. The only problem i have is that he shifts all the gravel to one side of the tank. He hates it level. I actually dont bother with it anymore.
Mine personally didnt like bichir eels. Chased em around, and thats about it, other members have kept theirs with bichirs no problems.

mine is about 18in and bought from brian on here the cat chased my 16in pbass around a little and now chases my 16in aro because hes eating his pellets he shifts through the sand and cleans it real good .

are they not as prized over there as they are here?
At least you can still get them in austrailia. Bogwoodbruce has been looking for one forever, cant imagine how much he is going to have to pay to get one in england.
