Victorians have a rep of being meaner than any other lake. From the people who have kept any of them, they are pretty nice looking, but a lot of LFS stop carrying them because no one would buy them... and they are getting killed off...(nile perch) anywho... now they are coming back...in the stores...
). I have one also. I've read they are fairly mellow, mine is not too aggressive (except around feeding time). She seems to prefer the open water parts of the tank so he doesn't really tangle with the rock dwellers. Btw, yours is male, females are all green with black stripes.
