African lungfish help ASAP please

With most fish that would be a true statement, but I have seen lungs come back from some horrific situations.

i have the same lungfish an that happened to the back end of my lung fish when my 3 plecs took a liking to his taste. safe to say they were promptly rehomed and he recovered but it took a rather long time what other fish are in the tank?i caught mine in the act when I came in one night an found them on him at night. if u dnt have sucking type fish then yes it is water parameters so a nice water change an a filter with gd uv will help.

as did mine I worried a lot about mine but hes tough as old boots he was missing parts from the back of him an tail was flailed but now hes strong as a bull an 18 inches long.

I agree it must be water quality if its alone look at the colour of water in the pic maybe turn heating up a few more degrees than normal an do religious water changes.
