anybody have any experience with this fish? what are they like? google says they only live for 5 years.. kinda short time.. anybody proved that wrong?

yes,theyre short lived fish.
the longest i heard was 7 yrs it think.

You should get one if you have the space, they are awesome. i love my odoe.

yes there said to be short lived in captivity but i don't know for sure about this i've never had the chance to keep one

thanks for the replies! i just got 1. about 7".. sir gucci, how long have you had yours? is he active? what does he eat? mine's in a 75gal solo.. any suggestions for tankmates or is solo the way to go?

Northern pike are best out canal so vicious you can feed them anything really only thing you gotta watch is its diet lol

Solo lol hell clean your tank or put in a fish thats going to grow the same size and has the same strength basically lol
