IN YOUR HEAD
i am doing an african tank and i am looking for some african plants to go in it. dont seem right with s.a. plants in an african tank. i can/would do just about any plants so i am open to ideas.

What kind of african tank??
I have Vallisneria spiralis in my Malawi Biotope
and
Bolbitis heudelotii, Anubias barteri, Anubias congensis, Pistia stratiotes and Crinum natans in my Congo Stream Biotope

i have frontosas, gatfs, ropefish and an ornate bichir. i have a 6500k led light on a 125gal.

right now i have the fronts growing out in one tank, the gatfs in the main african disply and once they cant be eaten by my ornate it will go in and i am getting the rope fish in as we speak. yes they will be in the same tank, and i have a rck for that display aswell. i know how big they all get and some will not be in this tank forever. this is my style of african tank:naughty:

ps the gafts are all getting along and have been fine with pbass and a sal so i know they will not be shredders of the others.

the fronts will be in a 40 breeder till they get big enough to go in. they will be just below my larger african tank. so till the fronts get big enough the double stack will be the african display. everything else will be together.

madagascar is sort like africa right? so I'd say the lace plants are nice and I have them growing with my central and south american cichlids
otherwise, anubias is african, and african water fern (Bolbits sp, forget exactly) are native
probably some hygophilia species that are from africa as well
