Whats the species of Scat? do you add salt for them-they look fantastic. Never seen them before like that
Rob

Scatohphagus tetracanthus is the name. I think they are called tiger scats or maybe banded scats. I do add a small amount of aquarium salt to the water but not any more than I add to the other tanks. They are a great fish in constant motion.

Thanks. I can't wait for mine to get bigger. He is about 9 inches at the moment. I will be moving him soon to a 300 gallon tank that has two pretty large widebars.

Thanks and damn you Joey for taking the spoonheads..:)

:naughty: what's crazy is I did not go there for these two. I went to pick up the other Fatty...However when I got there I noticed the spoonies right away. It's just nice to have something differen't than the others in the group.

In person they look like someone stepped on the heads and flattened them...
