Nice fish, they don't get too big. They do have large mouths though so keep the other fish much bigger than its mouth.

The second pic doesn't look like a shovelnose to me.

second pic is of the african shovelnose. as they come from a different continent they don't look like a typical american shovelnose. if you see them in the flesh you can see how wide the mouth is. i would say that it is the african equivalent of Goeldiella Eques, a small american shovelnose.
