african spotted lunfish questions

How long have you had him for? They need a while to get tame.

Best foods IMO are Market prawn and Smelt / silversides
Smelt / silversides you'll find in the freezer in big pet stores and Market prawn you can get from your local supermarket ;)
 
ive had him for four months, hes not at all afraid of me I mean I hand feed him during the day because he wont leave his cave until lights out.

Then you should make the tank darker..for example with black cardboard like I said.
 
well looks like I have a project for tonight. thanks for the help man, I think im going add some black water extract too along with some more hiding spots, thanks again man ill post pics tonight :)
