African tiger fish help!

Yea he's in my 50 gallon separated right now. I did remove the power head from the tank incase that was what caused it. I did read that they can cause eyes to be like this.
Either head injury or disease ,leaning towards sick,especially if u feed goldfish(if u keep water clean and are careful about what u introduce to tank,your disease related deaths should remain towArds zero)
