Are they hard to keep? What's the min sized tank?
 
I would say so. Gotta house a small one in an establish tank with a few livestock at most in the beginning. Less stress and start introducing the stock one by one.
 
I got my first set of 5 clown loaches about 18 months ago. Started out ranging from 5" to 7" and grown about an inch to two since, but definitely got chubbier. Then it trickled to 50+ of sizes 5" to 9" now. Here is afrowana swimming alongside the clowns
