After a long Winter..A Ray of sunshine..

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Congrats on bringing them back to a more healthy state. Nice Castexi , had a few myself.

FYI There is a difference between rare, rare due to importation ban and rarely imported due to the large size a ray can get. Pretty sure there is more then one elusive brown ray to add to your list of brown rays.

Yup, just plain ol overpriced Castexi that accidently developed claspers at 9" on his way to being 4' across.

Seriously man, you have NO clue what I want. If you did you'd go away. And stay there.

It's people just like you that ruin it for all the rest in this thread that actually wanted to see some pics of Falkneri.

What's next? Ask me how my dead rays are doing?

FYI- Nobody here cares what you have to say, you seem to just start crap wherever you go.

I see you even went so far as to change your sig..... Very creative. Looks kinda like a jab at mine.

Awesome ray Alan! You should feel honored to have them and goes to show what dedication and devotion to search them down and locate them has done! Would love to see the other two!

Sounds like they stay a managable size! I can see now why some of the marbleds have left the lineup in the past for these...I would have done the same!

LOL. Still nice! Maybe they will stay the same size as a Hystrix! Highly doubt it as my Castexi had fully rolled claspers at 10" and now he is in someones pond and is over 2 feet and still growing! Maybe I had a Falk! Go figure!

Boes haven't been caught and exported for over 3 years. And when is the last time that BW had Falkneri... Ive been on his mailing list for over three years and never seen Falks listed, he has had Boes only once in this same time frame. So I would consider that rare, what ever you want to call them.

I believe I stated he had Boes once in that time frame and the Falks, that is the same shipment that Al purchased from. Your links are meaning less. Oh wait it was 2.5 years. OOPS

Looks like my day just got a little brighter yet.

Never experienced the ignore option before. Been a member here for half a decade and I can't believe I just now figured out this most amazing function.

Never thought I'd say this but Blkpirahna - Thank you. For being the first person in 5 years that's trolled me enough to find it.

Thanks Scott! I thought 70cm was a little big myself, but if that's only a few inches bigger then I anticipate growing my ogre Marble to then what the heck right!?!

I do feel extremely honored. I made sure the seller knew that too. It was not a fun rollercoaster ride. It was a very stressfull ordeal. Tons of emails trying to figure out how to get them here. Getting them back to health from thier amazing journey. Like I said this is some of the reason I get all worked up over lack of respect for the people that sell us rays. I really wanted to post pics the day I got them, but I couldn't in fear of people attacking the person I got them from for selling skinny rays, while the whole time they walked me through everything, and the rays as skinny as they were ate and picked up weight just like I was told they would. I sent another thank you email just a few weeks ago. There's NO info out there on these things and they'd probobly still be skinny if I treated them like any ray I have, but with some good advice by someone familiar with them they seem to be progressing nicely.

I'll definetly get pics of the other 2 when I move them, they never quit moving in the tank.

Well sir, I posted pics, that means it's your turn. Let's see the Aztec Marble that got into the war paint!!!!!!
