Ok, real talk guys.... If I got a smaller juruense of the variety called 'flash zebra', how realistic would it be to have it in there for a while until I'm forced to sell it? I know people keep them and tigs for life in 180s, so... how about it? I know a bigger tank would be better, but I literally have no room for anything bigger than a 72x18 footprint, otherwise I'd set up one of my larger tanks lol. Juruense is easily one of my favorites, and I'd love to have another. I'd give up a LOT of my other bottom dwellers to have one. I could keep it fairly effectively under most of the mid and top level fish considered above, too; and I know that from experience.
Lepisosteus , an odoe is a great idea! Lol I had forgotten how many cool fish that there were that I had forgotten about lol
I think you should be fine, at least for a good long while. They are beautifully fish, I wish that it wasn't so damn hard to get a hold of one here in Scandinavia.
