Eg is right my juvee basked quite a bit untell he was the size of my hand...it has someting to do withe uv harding the shells ...I have a guy not to far from here that raise them for collecters and he told me it was common and they just grow out of it..as for thed water temp it all depands on how active you want them to be and how often you want to feed them, oh and water movmenti have hadmy trutle = 72 to78 degree range for a good two years is old filter system was 100% every six hours....and he seems fine
