If I remember correctly, there is some type of sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation center. Can't quit remember were it was. Anyone know what I'm talkin' bout? All I remember is that they had lots of big pools with turtles swimming around, it was real cool.

I have no clue I know they have studys and rehabilitation centeres at the UF Marine Center in Palm Coast but I dunno whats in it.

I live in Ft. Myers and have never been to the Tampa Aquarium before and would like to go. I've been to Mote Marine in St. Armands, which is a very nice aquarium but i've heard that the Tampa Aquarium is much better. As soon as there is a set date then sign me up. I'll try and get a few more of my friends that might be into going as well.

Where are you in Ft Myers, did you guy take a licking from the Hurricane? Have you ever been to Boardroom Aquatics in South Ft Myers? Ask for Rich if he is still around, best cichlid shop around, or it used to be.

Clearwater? Real place or am I imagining things. I think thats were its at?

I live in S. Ft. Myers and since we got the N. side of the storm we didn't really sustain that much damage. My sister who lives in Boca Raton said that it was the worst she had seen there since Andrew hit. I think boardroom is the best LPS we have in Ft. Myers. They always seem to have what you need when you need it. I always recommend it to people.

I know for a fact that there is a sea turtle rehabilitation center in the Keys but besides that not sure. The Mote Marine Aquarium might have a rehabilitation center for sea creatures but again, not sure.

okay, when would be a good time for all of you to be able to go?? dates? months? see if we can find one everyone can agree on!

The florida aquarium in Tampa is about floridas wildlife. So if you are going and hoping to see cichlids you are out of luck. They do have a decent shark show but thats not it. You could take a behind the scenes tour or a Dolphin eco tour in the bay you are almost guarenteed to see dolphins. They also have river otters and small alligators. They also have one seaturtle. If you are scuba certified then you can pay to dive with the sharks.

The mote marine lab is Sarasota is better imo. Or you could try the clearwater aquarium Which isnt that far out the way.

It still worth visting however if you have never been there before.

yah I know, I looked it up on the web page, just going to take a look and see what they have and if its a neat as people say it is =) the only cichlid I have ever seen in any aquarium like thing anywho was sea worlds manatee exhibit and that was one huge oscar =)
