Aggession Question

Wow.... Pretty nice Marbles. Must have sailed right through that financial bind..... All in all I find this commical. I was seriously concerned, but now it's apparent what really happened. Despite how I feel I'll go ahead and offer you up some advice with a smile. :)

They're too young to breed if they are 10 inch. Like mentioned probobly bored. Smaller the tank the more bored they're gonna be.

EXACTLY how much and how often are you feeding? Once a day is bare minimum in my opinion. Even every other day leads to biting here. IF you have time twice a day is best.

Asside from feeding more you can also add sand and some bigger smooth rocks for them to bounce around and move around. If you see pics of my tanks you'll see large smooth black river rocks on the sand. These are the ray's play toys. They bang them around and shuffle them, trying constantly to flip and move them. Give them some sand and they'll sift all day. Otherwise they will amuse themselves by chewing on tankmates, eachother, or equipment. The sand not only serves as a place to hide but also as something to keep them entertained all day. Tradeoff is now you will be entertained all day by trying to keep your filters running with all that sand flying around.

Good luck and nice to see things looked up for you...... Sad to see the means taken to get there though.....

Does anyone finds that keeping 2 matured rays in the same tank has more aggression then keeping a comm of 3 or more ?
