aggresiveness flowerhorn vs red devil

Could go either way.i,ve seen both that are just plain nasty!
 
Well now that ive owned both, i'd say they were the same or close to it....I got one of each and there was numerous endless battles so one had to go....but i'd say they are about the same..thats why neither of them won...

my devil killed everything in his tank including an umbi :0 which was 3" bigger than him

yep found this out too....turns out the first one i had stood up to the devil and couldnt be kept with anything....got another one and it got along with some jags and other aggressive fish just fine...
 
I am keeping a fh and a rd together at the moment the fh is the aggressive one the rd minds its own business but really it shows that it is really up to the personality of the fish
 
I think it just depends on the fish's personality , I've had a couple FHs that didn't bother anyone and I have a RD that has killed off 3 Jags that were much bigger than him, so far the only thing that seems to be okay with him is a juvi RD and a Red Texas and he only really messes with the Red Texas.
