Aggression levels in P. Congicus, any experiences?

I have had the same problem a bigger tank is needed. I had 75 gal with a P. Congicus and a Ornate and edlicherii. all 6,8,10 inches they all nip and fight now I am in the middle of the best poly tank 2 of them one for smaller bichirs and one for the larger ones . the larger one is done my poly are all over 15 inches now they are in atank 130x36x18 365 gal not a problem . and I just added a 14 in lapradii.

what he says. I have endlis and laps in both well-planted tank with lots of hidding places. No aggression in baretank; a lot of biting in the other. In the planted tank, they seem to take turn. For awhile, one is doing all the nipping while the other's running, now it's vice versa.

But I agree with others too about individual personality and species and size. You don't know what you have until you throw 'em in the pot ... errr tank.:D
 
Bigger tank is all you need. i'd go for something atleast 72 x 30, height of the tank doesn't matter too much.
 
Thanks for all the advise folks. I went last night and removed all the drift wood and left the plants in there. I began to notice that Big Boy has started to calm down. I will definitely ugrade to a bigger tank in the future though. Thanks again.:D
 
i have a gongicus that is whit 2 Palmas, 2 senegalus and 1 ornatipinis and is the most active of then, always looking for food
