I have a pair of Trimacs (M-10"; F- 7") in a 4' 120 gal with a pair of Convicts... the only reason the Convicts are alive is because there are ample places they fit that the Trimacs can not...

You are trying to keep 4 fish that can/will get 12" long and are both beefier species, although one is notoriously known for high levels of aggression and the other is well known as a large mouthed/large bodied mellow Cichlid, all in ta tank that's not big enough for 2 fish of either species... much less all 4 fish...

There is a difference between taking some risk and setting up a tragedy. This tank will not be fun for you or the fish...

My 68G is a grow out tank. I'm setting up 2 tanks once I get my other tank which now would most likely be 150G or 180G. I plan on putting the Oscars in the 68G and the rest of the other fishes in the other much larger tank...Thanks for the input.

And the larger male Trimac disappeared today.....

Where'd you get the trimacs? I can't find any good ones in Houston, but I'm new around here and might be shopping at the wrong shops.

Fish Ranch in Rosenberg, TX. I drove far for them. :headbang2

And I found my large male! He was hiding under rocks.
