Aggressive Datnoid

I just bought a 14" IT dat from a member here couple days ago. Its only aggressive towards my 12"jardini.
The IT is alot fatter & taller than my aro. Chases it around for a few secs and stops. the aro always starts it and get his ass whoop!I hav them in a 75gallon only. Its wierd b/c my tiny 6" flagtail chases the IT. I also hav a fly river turtle, 12 "ornate, red serum amd a parrot. They all get along. Yes, i am going to upgrade down the line. Other than tha, it looks spacious to me.

yea that sounds nice haha its weird how things work with datnoids? But my dat isnt scared of much maybe because he killed them all lool
 
My aro is more torn up. Dat gets aggressive when i turn the lights. Violent gets crazy that water spills out of the tank. It chases it and the aro collide to things like tank cover

I had one like this raised him from 1.5in to 6in........i got rid of him he was a butt hole.
 
my dat leaves all the fish alone except my aro. i have to put a divider in my 75gallon today. poor thing is swimming in circles and trying to break the divider. im going to take out the divider once the aro heals and if it gets crazy. ima sell my 14 incher if any1 is interested

that is interesting haha im trying to think if they were in there before i only had my one pbass with the dat with 2 bichirs and i started adding more pbass and bichirs but he doesnt mind them as much as cichlids when i was experimenting
 
That really is odd that your dat isn't allowing cichlids to be in the tank, you should try a spotted pike characian they've worked with every dat I've owned. Next best thing to a gar imo. :naughty:
