tiger muskies are IMO hands down the most aggressive, but exodons in a pack just tear apart everything. At an LFS near me, they put a piranha in the exodon tank once and it was eyeless and scaleless in a coupe days...

I've got 2 Jaguars in with 2 Piranhas and 3 Plecos. Jaguars are a very aggressive fish. When I put in the feeders the Piranhas will dart at there prey grab them and rip off little pieces until they are done. Whereas the Jags will open up there enormous mouths, take in half the fish and usually take the head or tail right off spit out the rest and repeat until they are finished. That is only with the larger feeders. The smaller ones the just swallow whole. My larger Jag is finally starting to develop his fangs and I'm very curious to see if this changes his eating style. Oh yeah, my Jags are definately the dominators in the tank with the Piranhas. If the Piranhas get in their space, the Jags put them in their place. So far so good!
yea Red Bellies unless in a large group and adult are a joke. Most puffers are freaking aggressive and not skitish at all. Oscars are i think one of the most aggressive "feeding" fish there is. Mine is so aggressive my knife died cause it could never get any food, even when throwing in 2 dozen feeders a week. I would only buy piranhas if i had a huge tank or pond where they could really shoal.
Get a common wolf fish. It would eat a redbelly and most anything else you throw in. There are more aggressive species but they become quite costly.

Piranhas aren't at the top of the food chain in their natural environment. I would say that the Dorado would be at, or VERY close to the top of the food chain. These fish are insane predators that also hunt in groups. They come to eat the piranhas...

another thing about the piranhas.
in south america, when the water dries up, and the p's are left in small, prey-less ponds, they are eager to attack anything that steps into the water. this caused a problem for farmers because their cattle were being eaten by the piranhas. the farmers' solution was to throw some peacock bass into the piranha infested ponds, and, voila! no more piranhas
