Could the JD be aggressive due to the tank size?

This is what I was thinking. You might consider some sort of dither. I like silver dollars (minimum 6) but that tank is too small for them unless you plan on getting small ones and then selling them later on.

I recommend getting a bigger tank.

Also, 75 gallons might prove to be too much for the oscar AND the JD. Most keepers me thinks would recommend 75 gallon as a minimum just for an adult oscar.

Planning on getting a bigger tank like a 125 in the next year or two!
