aggressive fish

What's the most aggressive fish that youve had or have heard of that would be a good fish for a single fish tank. I want to have a tank for a really mean fish by itself so any ideas?...

But if its in a tank alone, how can you tell if its mean or not? I like to think puffers are mean in that way, when you feed a puffer a crayfish, its insane. Crayfish pinching like crazy trying to get away, puffer blowing guts out of his gills. Its a wicked looking fight IMO.
